Muzigle in association with Lead India 2020, the Second National Movement for Development, invites to sing 'Jana Gana Mana' and pay tribute to the National Anthem by recording one million voices on the Internet . People could logon at http://leadindia2020.muzigle.com and use the Karaoke feature to record their own unique rendering of the National Anthem. Once the recording is completed, people are encouraged to contribute Rs.10 in India or $1 elsewhere towards the corpus fund of Lead India 2020 Foundation for national development.
The sixty years celebration of Indian National Anthem 'Jana Gana Mana' was kicked off at a colorful event today in Hyderabad. Several dignitaries from different walks of life attended and expressed their joy at the initiative.
Anand Kuchibhotla, Co-Founder and CEO, Muzigle (http://www.muzigle.com) said "January 24th, 2010 marks the 60th anniversary of 'Jana Gana Mana' being adopted as our National Anthem. To celebrate the spirit of our National Anthem, it is proposed that "Jana Gana Mana" to be sung and recorded online by One Million people from all over the world using Internet. The 'Jana Gana Mana' in Million Voices is expected to be accomplished in 60 days from December 24, 2009 through February 24, 2010."
Anand Kuchibhotla explaining the process said that One could logon to http://leadindia2020.muzigle.com and register (with email verification) or login if already registered and listen to 'Jana Gana Mana', and practice it before they record using the available online Karaoke feature. Then one could record 'Jana Gana Mana' online following the lyric on the Karaoke player. Review the recording after it is completed and save the recording once satisfied. Recording can be saved and published on their profile on Face Book or other social networks to share with others. Users have the option of contributing to the corpus fund of Rs.10 in India or $1 elsewhere. Then user can enter the credit card information or enter a code in case payment has been made by SMS or other payment methods. An email confirmation of the payment will be sent.
Dr. Sudarshanacharya, National Coordinator-Lead India 2020 explained in detail the mission of Lead India 2020 and said, "The funds would be utilized for training students in Villages as change agents in order to achieve the dream of developed India. Individuals, families, organizations, institutions or corporations can make contribution on behalf of their family/employees/students."
Renowned Music Director RP Patnaik said 'It is Andhra Pradesh where the Indian National flag got designed; its Andhra Pradesh (Madanapalle) - where Ravindranath Tagore tuned the National Anthem and its again Andhra Pradesh where the 60th year celebrations started." He also added that it could be 60 Lakh people not Ten Lakh people who are going to join this wonderful project and congratulated the Lead India 2020 - Muzigle team. Mr. DJ Ramesh, Chairman & MD of Vijay Electricals, Justice Bhaskar Rao, JC Trainer and Rtn. VV Sanyasi Rao, Music Directors Madhavapeddi Suresh, Bunty, PRO Dr. J. Chennaiah and Senior Journalist Prabhu also participated in the launch of this campaign.
